We went to the Elder's Quorum BBQ on Saturday. It was fun and the weather was perfect for being outside. Henry loved 'jumping' on the trampoline, especially when Wilson was holding him.
No pictures accompany this post. Wilson took the camera camping last weekend and forgot it in his dad's truck. Fortunately, anticipating this sort of event, all the pictures taken before the camping trip were saved onto my computer. We have lots of videos, but I haven't saved them to computer yet, or figured out how to post them. Someday!
No big plans for this week, but looking forward to 4th of July!

Welcome Back!!!
I've been neglecting my blog while I've been on vacation. Please accept my apologies! I have been enjoying the time off and start back to work on Monday.
These are pictures from my break:

Wilson & Henry

Getting rid of the (ugly, overgrown) bushes in our front yard

So much better without the bushes!

Henry's first clippers haircut

At Nana's house

Nana's backyard

(Late) Easter Egg Hunt

Swimming in the backyard

Sewing Project with Julie (this picture also shows the new couches and pictures on the wall, both are lacking in the Easter picture)

Nana's house for Henry's birthday

Eating Birthday BBQ

Henry helping Wilson fix the sprinklers (Henry had picked up a big clod of mud/dirt and tried to eat it)

Christina slept over for the weekend.
Henry loves swings!

Just Checking In
I don't have much to write, I don't want to get into the habit of neglecting my blog (again).
Anyway, there's lots happening. Henry's starting to run, he's not very good at it yet so it interferes with his walking. He's so determined and focused, I'm sure he'll have walking/running perfected by next week!
Katie gets home on the 15th (I think, I could be wrong). I'm excited to hear whatever accent she's picked up over there. I've been a bad sister and not signed up for skype to chat with her. Sorry Katie!
Henry loves going to the park. I enjoy unwinding from work outside. We've been going everyday since the weather's been so nice. It's getting very blustery and a little colder, so I don't know if we'll go today. That would be a bummer. Maybe my parents will be home tonight and would enjoy a visit.
Last thought: Wednesday at the park, there were several other kids there playing. Before we had always had the park to ourselves. Usually Henry will squeal with delight in the swing, but this time, he prefered to watch the other kids play, and hardly noticed he was in the swing. Wilson commented on this difference by saying, "Henry likes to people watch. He and Darcel would have gotten along great". I totally agree.

Halloween is Coming!

I'm excited for Halloween, this is our first year with a kid. When we were kids, my family didn't go trick-or-treating. We would do the trunk-or-treat at church and then visit family and friends on the 31st. We usually visited those that were a little bit out of the way so they didn't get trick-or-treaters very often. We still got some candy, but not copious amounts, we got to visit with people that otherwise probably wouldn't have gotten a knock on their door, and the best part was playing dress-up!
