I'm excited for Halloween, this is our first year with a kid. When we were kids, my family didn't go trick-or-treating. We would do the trunk-or-treat at church and then visit family and friends on the 31st. We usually visited those that were a little bit out of the way so they didn't get trick-or-treaters very often. We still got some candy, but not copious amounts, we got to visit with people that otherwise probably wouldn't have gotten a knock on their door, and the best part was playing dress-up!
i don't know about you but i went trick or treating in our old neighborhood. i had fun even though we had weird neighbors who handed out erasers and rulers. those don't taste very good!
